Refund policy
Inku is built in limited production runs. We do not offer change-of-mind returns. Once your order has shipped, we generally cannot accept a return simply because you have changed your mind.
We do review return requests on a case-by-case basis. If you believe your circumstances merit an exception, email us at orders@inkboard.ink with your order number and a brief explanation, and we will consider it in good faith. Any return granted this way is at our sole discretion, is decided case by case, and does not create an entitlement for future orders. Approved returns must arrive in original condition and packaging with all accessories included, and you will need your receipt or proof of purchase. Items sent back without an approved return request will not be accepted.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your Inku has a manufacturing defect, arrives damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, contact us at orders@inkboard.ink within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will replace the unit free of charge and cover shipping in both directions. If we cannot supply a replacement, we will refund you in full.
This covers faults in materials and workmanship. It does not cover accidental damage, drops, liquid exposure, normal cosmetic wear, or damage caused by unauthorized repair or modification.
Non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns on gift cards or on personalized or custom-configured items, unless the item is defective.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under applicable consumer law.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification. The item must be in the same condition you received it, in its original packaging, and you will need your receipt or proof of purchase.
United Kingdom
If your order is shipped to the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, on the same conditions.
Refunds
Where a return, cancellation, or refund is approved, we will notify you once we have received and inspected the item and let you know whether the refund is approved. If approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. It can take additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund, contact us at orders@inkboard.ink.
